Corrugator Control Page

Keeps Planning and Production Synchronized

In the Corrugator Control Room

In the corrugator control room, the Corrugator Control page acts as the online connection between corrugator and Planning. It lets the machine operator (and not the planning office) control the final sequence of programs and the transfer of schedules. He can pull up urgent runs or do other sequence changes right here instead of on the dry-end controller.

PC-Topp keeps the sequence at the Dry End Controller in synch with the Corrugator Control page and updates Program Memory after every sequence change done there.

Besides, the Corrugator Control page lets the machine operator print schedules, the paper program or pallet labels right at the machine where they are needed.

Elsewhere in the Plant

Outside the corrugator control room, the Corrugator Control page can be used for displaying and printing corrugator schedules and paper requirements, without allowing sequence changes or schedule transfers.

Transfer Modes

The Corrugator Control page offers two transfer modes: Runs can be transferred to the Dry End controller computer either manually or automatically. The automatic mode always keeps enough programs in the queue to maintain a smooth production flow.

Optionally, the Corrugator Control page can only be used for displaying and printing programs and paper requirements, without the functionality for modifying the run sequence.
