PC-Topp displays the long term Machine Load graphically, and can even take into account reserved capacities for regular customers that are known to place their final orders at the last moment. The graphic shows capacity bottlenecks before they occur, and prompts the planner to open – or close – machines for extra shifts.
PC-Topp analyzes the load and capacity figures for each day, anticipates peak loads, and shows the first date a machine has available capacity on.
Permanently Up to Date
The machine load is recalculated almost immediately after any changes to the orders or to planning: New orders become part of the machine load as soon as they arrive, and planning changes are reflected almost instantly.

Summary and Detailed View
Rather than displaying an overwhelming amount of data, the TGV shows a compact view with one line per machine.
This bar is divided into color coded segments which indicate the date up to which the machine is scheduled, and the machine's load status. (For more details, see the PC-Topp News)
One click on the machine bar opens the detail view for that machine with day to day capacity figures (in hours). Clicking on a specific day displays the orders that make up the load on that day.
Similar machines can be grouped so that the TGV shows not just the load on each machine, but also the combined capacity and load for the group of machines.
Planning Information for the Sales Department
The comprehensive planning information available within PC-Topp provides reliable information to the sales department and finally to the customer. This information is available without interrupting the planners at their work, and easily accessible to authorized persons in every department and even outside the plant, via Internet.
