Renault Group’s Romania-based value-driven Dacia brand will be presenting three world premieres at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show.

These are the revamped Duster SUV, Spring and World Rally-Raid Championship contender, the Sandrider.

Duster

First made in 2010, and renewed in 2017, the Duster has over 2 million units produced to date.

The third-generation Duster is developed on the CMF-B platform and offers a range of engines, including the ECO G100 LPG, HYBRID 140, and the 48V TCe 130 mild-hybrid available in 4×2 and 4×4 transmission.

Its price tag starts at under €20,000.

New Spring

Claimed to be the only fully-electric car to weigh less than a tonne, the revamped Spring features a 45 hp engine on the Essential and Expression trims, and 65 hp on the Expression and Extreme trims.

It also has a customisable digital dashboard featuring a 7-inch screen and a 10-inch multimedia central screen.

In the UK, the Spring is tipped to be its most affordable EV, coming in at under £18,000.

Dacia Spring

Sandrider

Dacia will showcase its prototype vehicle that the Dacia Sandriders will first race in 2025 in the Dakar Rally before heading to the World Rally-Raid Championship.

The automaker says the race will be an opportunity for it focus on the essentials to the test in the most challenging terrain.

It will focus on its commitment to affordable decarbonisation, with Sandrider running on synthetic fuel made by Aramco.

Sandrider’s design has been inspired by feedback from racing crews.
